# Deployment documentation

> The full security and deployment documentation we share with your team once we have spoken: what it covers and how to open it.

There is a second set of pages behind a password. It's written for the people who review and install Expanse: your security team, your platform engineers and procurement. We share access after a first call, once we know Expanse fits your cluster.

## What it covers

| | |
| - | - |
| [**Egress**](/private/egress.md) | Every call that leaves your network, every field it carries, its default and the setting that controls it, and what never leaves. |
| [**Architecture**](/private/architecture.md) | What runs where, how data moves, where the model trains, and what happens when Expanse is unavailable. |
| [**Your scheduler**](/private/scheduler.md) | What the collectors do on Kubernetes and SLURM, every permission they hold, what they cost a job, and how reading existing telemetry works. |
| [**Services you provide**](/private/services.md) | The databases, storage, identity, names and network paths a deployment needs, with a sizing calculator. |
| [**Access**](/private/access.md) | What Expanse can and cannot reach, and how an engagement ends. |
| [**Installation**](/private/installing-kubernetes.md) | Step-by-step guides for Kubernetes and SLURM, every chart setting, and the CLI reference. |

## Opening it

If we've given you the password, [open the deployment documentation](/private/overview.md) and enter it when asked. Pages behind the password are marked **Private** in the sidebar once you're in.

If you don't have it yet, [book a call](https://expanse.sh/contact) and we'll send it afterwards.
